St Johns House - Accommodation

Neither of the Clifton St Annes homes are larger than 36 bedrooms. This is because we want to offer a sense of community that each and every resident can get involved in, offering individuality that larger corporate care homes cannot offer. This is reflected in the accommodation that we provide, as St John’s House offers 34 spacious, private rooms all with ensuite facilities and are all connected to a central Nurse Call System so that help is on hand at any given moment.

All our ensuite bathrooms have been installed with the latest design such as walk in showers and assisted baths to make it as easy as possible for residents to enjoy their ensuite facilities without the need for assistance. While the rooms are all fully furnished, we still encourage residents to bring small furnishings of their own to help make it feel like their home. Rooms can be arranged to suit each individual resident so that you feel as at home as possible.

Should you want your own TV and telephone, this is also something that St John’s House can provide so that you can always be in touch with your family at your own convenience.

Communal Areas

As well as offering comfortable and luxurious bedroom accommodation, the staff at St John’s House encourages residents to spend time in the many communal areas that we have available. Boasting several lounge’s, dining rooms and reception rooms for the residents, St John’s is also set in beautiful country grounds, providing gardens and summer houses so that residents can enjoy the outdoors.

You will also find our very own chickens roaming free around the grounds, of which many residents help look after and collect their very own eggs. So whether you want to read your book in peace and quiet in the gardens or get involved with our choir in the rehearsal room, there is something for every resident at St John’s House
